She attended medical school at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (now renamed the Jacobs School of Medicine) and graduated with her M.D. in 2012. Dr. Parmele completed her Pediatric Residency at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (now Oishei Children’s Hospital), and had the honor of being chosen to serve for a year as Chief Resident. She continues to have a special interest in hematology as well as adolescent medicine and preventative care.
She lives with her husband, Namat, who is a software architect and their dog, Louie. They love to play music together, are avid Syracuse basketball fans, and enjoy spending time outside either playing at a dog park with Louie, hiking, or going to the beach.
